Teen ‘Using Snapchat While Driving’ Just Moments Before Ghastly Crash Is Charged

A teenager has been charged by police after allegedly using Snapchat while driving in the moments before a tragic crash that left a motorist with brain damage.
Christal McGee was accused of using the app’s ‘speed filter’ while behind the wheel in April.
And now police have charged her with “serious injury by vehicle, reckless driving and driving too fast for conditions”.Mirror UK reports.
Snapchat’s speed filter means that when the image is sent out to followers, it informs pals of how quickly the user was moving at the time the image was taken.
And in the moments after the crash McGee, 18, posted an image of her injuries.
She captioned the picture: “Lucky to be alive”.
“Now, he can’t do that any more.”
