Woman’s Remains Found In Dedham Identified As 22-Year-Old Who Was Missing For Over A Year
The remains of a woman found in a wooded area of Dedham have been identified, police say.
Bones and a few personal effects were found in the woods off High Street on city property last week. Police released photos of a sweatshirt worn by the woman and some jewelry in hopes of identifying her last Friday.
According to the Norfolk County District Attorney’s office, the remains were those of Nigerian,Susan Anyanwu-Corbin, who was 22 years old when she went missing.
According to Fox news,Investigators said a person recognized the jewelry in media coverage and helped identify the woman. The medical examiner in Boston confirmed Anyanwu-Corbin’s identity based on dental records.
She was a resident of Boston and likely lived in Hyde Park, according to investigators.
